WCLC Family

Donna founded the Wyoming Children’s Law Center in 2009.  She is a 2001 Graduate of the University of Wyoming College of Law. She is a Child Welfare Law Specialist.  Donna has been admitted to Federal and State court.  She has been an advocate for children’s legal rights for many years. She is a parent of a child with special needs and also completed a graduate assistant-ship with W.I.N.D. (Wyoming Institute for Disabilities).

Ayla joined the Center's team in November 2024. She is now the administrative and program manager of the Center. She works diligently to ensure both the Center's legal and extra-legal services (through the Family Tree Program) are handled efficiently. Ayla is a passionate advocate and support for parents and children in need. 

Karla is a recent additition to our team here in the Center! Graduating from the University of Wyoming with two Bachelor's degrees, one in Criminal Justice and the other in Political Science, Karla dedicates herself to Center's mission and is already a valuable member of our team.

Jennifer is a second-year law student at the University of Wyoming College of Law. She grew up in the front range of Colorado, studied as an educator, and decided she wanted to pursue a career in special education law. 

The Youth Justice Coalition is still open to hearing from parents, youths, and any who have stories and experience to share about their past, current, and expected interactions with the justice and educational systems in Wyoming.
