The Wyoming Children’s Law Center, Inc. is a 501C(3) nonprofit, founded in 2009. Our mission is to help Wyoming children and their families navigate legal issues affecting a child’s education, safety or well-being and work to improve laws and policies that harm children and vulnerable adults.

Education Advocacy, including special education rights, expulsion and harmful school discipline.

Youth crisis and justice system reforms to improve access to necessary medical care, mental health treatment and evidence-based interventions; and reduce harmful practices that traumatize youth and families.

Interdisciplinary approach to family law and custody disputes utilizing expertise such as social workers to help families involved in legal actions move away from conflict toward neutrality and collaborative problem-solving.

Filling a critical gap in low-income legal services by providing mediation and Guardian ad litem services at a reduced rate and offering sliding fee legal services for people of moderate means.
